I was delighted to start this weekend off with a surprise birthday party, my favorite type! Rick and Martha Blacher are no strangers to DJ Professionals & Video. Two years ago we DJ’d Rick’s surprise 60^th birthday party. This year Rick decided to turn the tables on his wife Martha and asked that we return. How could we say no? We couldn’t and we wouldn’t and why would we…these people know how to party.

I was told that getting a surprise birthday party planned, without Martha finding out, was no easy task for Rick. He did a great job however as over 150 of Martha’s friends and family, some coming from out of state, filled the Country Club of Landfall. As always the staff at Country Club of Landfall was a pleasure to work with. Food stations set up around the room kept people nibbling throughout the night. This was important as they needed to keep their energy up for the dance floor.

We at DJ Professionals & Video had a blast partying it up with Martha and Rick and thank them so much for once again choosing us to bring the party on their special day. We look forward to the next party.
