We had a blast on Cinco De Mayo celebrating Karlie’s Sweet 16…with a White Party! The birthday girl was the only one not dressed in white…but a hot pink evening gown is much better for a Sweet 16 anyway. Dinner was catered by Karly’s mother Patti and I have to say she makes the best mac’n’cheese I’ve ever had. She had to have spent the entire day cooking with all the stuff there was including home made cupcakes that were beautifully decorated.

We kicked everything off with The Cupid Shuffle, and the party kept going. The dance floor stayed packed, even through the monsoon we encountered! Rain never stops a party on a covered porch, and we continued on with The Wop, The Wobble, and fist pumped all night. Patti and her daughter Karlie discoed out to Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” – and had a blast.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this party. We all had a great time and I’d like to thank Paul and Patti for inviting us into their home. We look forward to the next one!
