At DJ Professionals and Video, we provide the very best professional and mobile dj service as well as the benchmark for wedding movies in our area. We keep a roster of about 5 or 6 DJ's that provide many levels of service for most events such as a wedding, birthday party, rehearsal dinner, dance, reunion, anniversary, and any private or public event. We have several videographers on staff with high definition video cameras and our own in house editors and systems.

The Crystal Coast is comprised of the following beautiful towns: Morehead City, Emerald Isle, Atlantic Beach, Pine Knoll Shores, Salter Path, Indian Beach, and Beaufort. We also are constantly servicing to New Bern, Havelock, Jacksonville, and Down East areas.

As you can imagine, being a destination wedding location, we provide the services for many brides and grooms who are looking to have a beach wedding. They can range from a beach wedding with 15 people to 200. Typically we provide a battery powered system with microphones, CD music, speakers and stands. There are also optional wireless clip on microphones and mixers for live bands, strings, or guitar players.

The DJ for the reception is typically asked to include many era's of music for a variety of people. Most people come to us because we excel as a master of ceremonies who is professional yet engaging. Our wonderful reception planning tool is always a big hit with brides so they can provide all sorts of information to us. We usually keep our 2 cents to ourselves concerning some one else's wedding, but having done thousands of weddings we can be a great resource too!

We can provide an incredibe custom touch to any wedding or special event. This example in the picture is The Big Rock fishing tournament we did in 2009 and held at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City. The other picture is showing a "Gobo Light" from our name in lights effects.

I started as a DJ in 1984, my first year in college at NC State where I was studying in the Technological and Biological Engineering program. I discovered the nightlife scene and the interaction of people and music! During the next few years I DJ'd at several nightclubs in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. I continued building the mobile business on the side, doing college events, weddings, school dances, and birthday parties. I have had the great fortune to make records for DJ record remix companies, and work with some of the best nightclub djs and re-mixers in the southeast.
In the 90's I was a manager for the biggest and best DJ company in NC and helped forge some new ideas and ways of doing business as a DJ. I started my first franchise in my home town of Morehead City back in 2000. We are still adding franchises at a slow controlled pace and hope to cover most of the US by the time I retire.
All these years have enabled me teach other dj's how to quickly work a room, know the hits for particular styles of people and how to read a crowd. Experience is a great teacher in understanding where problem areas have been and how to avoid them in the first place. I have personally done 1000's of weddings and various types of parties.
It is always hard letting another DJ do an event with your name and reputation at stake every time. Trust me when I tell you these experienced DJ's get lots of retraining and work before I am able to let them go out there and rock the house. They do, and they all have my seal and approval when they receive our name on them.

Rob has been a DJ with us since 2004. Originally from Ocean City Maryland, he has made his home in Morehead City since 1984. His biggest and most well know strength is his natural sense of humor. Everyone has to smile and laugh from the first time they meet Rob .He is a Jimmy Buffet with a shaved head. Completely able to do any type of event from north to south, but especially great when you are looking for a fun time. Rob has DJ'd all types of events like, weddings, birthday parties, nightclubs, school dances, and even bike night. He has 2 children and stays very active in their sports and is usually a coach at something or donating for a good cause.
Unique music knowledge: Rock and Funk from the 80's but knows all the regular movers.

Kruzin Kerry has been a dj since 1990 in nightclubs and doing private weddings and parties. Kerry has been DJ'ing with us since 2008 when he returned to his hometown from working nightclubs in Myrtle Beach. He is a true professional and can work any room to warm it up and still keep the focus on the event of the party.

DJ Georgie has been a DJ since 2004 up in New York. He started working for DJ Professionals in 2009. He worked for one of the biggest DJ companies up there and it shows. Full of energy and knows exactly what to do. He puts the party in gear when it's time, teaches any new line dances, and keeps the evening flowing. One of his biggest strengths is with anyone that has a northern influence. They will immediately recognize him as one of their own.

Suzanne has been a videographer since 1998. She has been with us since 2006 and is our in house editor. She has a long career in video including her own company, her own TV channel, and the video communications officer for Cherry point. Tons of experience with a video camera and knows just how to get that right shot at the right moment.
Videographer: Kristi Pake
Kristi has been shooting with us since 2000. She has a slow steady hand and uses her photography knowledge to frame the shot and angles just right. Kristi has shot more than 100 weddings and is a rock steady videographer. She is alo the wife of the company president. That means she has worked thru every little thing he can find wrong. Talk about someone who understands the difference in the detail. She does!
